2011 the CEO of a German top fashion brand presented at a conference that his trend scouts and designers fly 2,000,000 miles p.a. to ensure the new collection is up-to-date. It turned out, the KPI didn’t help too much to rejuvenate the brand: the CEO had to leave a year later and for what is known, the brand still trys to find a turnaround.
